All images in this paper were generated by evaluating the windowed
cosc functions analytically. This means that the cosc function was
evaluated analytically (one cosine and one sine term) and the
windowing function as well (which is quite complex in some cases),
which is too costly for practical purposes. To avoid this, the
windowing functions could be sampled into a lookup table. This would,
however, affect the image quality, dependent on the sampling rate and,
consequently, the size of the lookup table. This aspect should be
thoroughly investigated to obtain an adequate speed-memory trade-off.
